Thank you for the recommendations!! I wanted to ask whether you've read Look Here by Ana Kinsella - it's a similarly slim book all about the pleasures of being a woman in a city https://dauntbookspublishing.co.uk/book/look-here/

Thank you for the book recommendations; I’ve finished Mitford’s Mme. Pompadour which led to her most biographical novels which I am nearly done with. Beastly Uncles.

Your audiobook because available through Libby before the print copy, so for a few days, your lovely writing and charming voice got me through a week slightly less fraught than a impromptu bowling party without the necessary prescription eyewear. As I was finishing it, my lovely post-divorce boyfriend sent me your interview from the Guardian. He thought (without knowing I was in the midst of you and Paris and longing to both get back to Paris. Thank you for writing your story; it was absolutely perfect.

Be well and see you in the City.

THANK YOU for all of this! Your caftans inspire me. I own one, which I should have known was a good thing, but did not fully appreciate until a woman on Coney Island tried to buy it off me. I had nothing else to put over my suit for the subway home, and declined. I will now wear it and think of your writing!!

How funny to see your selfie at the Sunset Tower. I just checked out of Room 1401 yesterday. Splendid view of Chateau Marmont from my room, and I bought that door tag to let my husband know that I’m recording a podcast episode (for work, nothing exciting) so please do not disturb. I also started reading your book while I was in WeHo.
